Charlie Jeffs is a U.K. photographer from Whitby, North Yorkshire who is currently based in Adelaide,South Australia.
The atmospheric light and rugged glory of the North York moors was the inspiration in the early days of Charlie's photographic career. Since leaving her native England in July, 2006 Charlie has spent the last year in Brittany capturing with her lens the unique lives of the Northern France fishing communities. Before flying out to Australia, Charlie travelled to Paris, France where she produced a unique series of photographs depicting the light and dark shades entwined in this magical city. Upon arriving in Australia, Charlie has embraced the unique light and lifestyle of the Australian people, flora and fauna.
Charlie Jeffs is a natural photographer with an extraordinary eye for detail and composition and the unique ability to infuse her photographs with a tender human touch. Charlie's work is a diverse kaleidoscope of images ranging from the industrial to nature and from people to pets.
